Last March 31, Father Sam Fuller, a friend, colleague and activist on behalf of God’s creation and all people and board member of IREJN, participated in a one day conference, Opportunities to Raise Public Awareness about Climate Change and the Need for Action, convened by the NYC Bar Association held at their headquarters in downtown Manhattan. On May 31, IREJN presented the CT Climate March with our friends at 350CT, the Sierra Club, and the CT Coalition for Environmental Justice. Over 600 people came out to march for climate justice! The March ended at the Hartford Earth Festival, where people listened to great music, ate tasty local food, and got involved with some of the greatest environmental organizations in CT!
